Okonomiyaki is a teppanyaki, a japanese dish similar to a saultry grilled pancake with innumerable topping options. The term literally translates to "what you wish"/"how you wish" (okonomi, where kono translates to "favourite") and "grilled" (yaki).
Founded on our years-long friendships, when we first discussed back in 2021 on how to call our collective, we realised we tend to do things a bit unconventionally and have decided to celebrate that; we all come from different walks of life and aim to simply share with our communities our passion "how we wish to", allowing each member creative freedom in a constructive and supportive environment.
